Ivet has been involved in Youth World for more than 9 years.
She is a guayaquileña, shepherd's daughter and graduate in preschool education, a teacher and youth leader. One of the motivations for her to get involved in the ministry was the example of her mother, Bella de Castro, who has worked with teenagers for more than 23 years.
For 9 years Ivet has directed the national conventions of leaders in Ecuador, offering the best leadership training and providing a space where leaders can develop strong friendships between themselves.
Starting this year, Ivet is expanding the work of La Red Juvenil in Ecuador and the world, to strengthen the teams that are in Cuba, Bolivia and Chile.
She likes to eat chicken in all possible variations, and also a lot of vanilla ice cream, and to watch movies and enjoy time with her nephews.

Ivet Castro
Her personal and ministerial goal is to be a person who encourages leaders who are alone and fighting against circumstances and misunderstandings in their communities. She wants to see stable leaders who are valued by their churches and their young people.
