While it has been a slow month for retreats, February saw a fair number of projects start up. From a wood shed behind the staff house, to an electrical shed, to the roofing of an equipment shed, to a new high ropes element. It has been a busy time. To help with the electrical shed a team of Canadian guys came for three days and laid the cinder block. Normally, Colegio Anderson would be scheduling retreats once or twice a week. However, due to some financial mismanagement, they have cancelled for the rest of the year. Retreats with them should start up again in the fall. As a result of Anderson not coming, we have begun to visit other schools in the area hoping to bring other groups out. Our most recent group retreat was the Korean church. They were out for three days to work on teambuilding and spiritual formation. |
