YouthWorld Staff

The SpoolstrasBob and Julie Spoolstra
Quito, Ecuador

Bob and Julie Spoolstra with their daughters, Nikki and Amanda, joined the Youth World staff in May 2004. The Spoolstra family comes to us from Michigan and have joined the El Refugio staff.

Bob is currently serving as the El Refugio Director and as the construction coordinator and assisting in leading work teams. Julie is serving as the financial coordinator for Youth World and is overseeing all the finances of El Refugio, Short Term Teams, and Youth World.

Nikki and Amanda attend Alliance Academy where Nikki is in 10th grade and Amanda is in 3rd. Nikki enjoys horses, volleyball and hanging out with friends, while Amanda enjoys movies, and playing with friends, and her new dog Bailey.
