Site Description:
Located behind Alliance Academy, next to Pan de Vida. Gabriel is excited about groups hanging out with his kids. Right now, there are 6 little guys living in this house, eager to hang out with anyone who drops by.
Ministry Description:
Ideally, smaller teams would work better with the street kids. There is cool potential in preparing programs for Pan de Vida, working side by side and incorporating the street kids. Interesting opportunities for joint evangelism in city parks with the street kids is also available. Playing soccer, teaching them a specific skill, and working on fixing up the house are all Teams can be at this site for 1 day, and have an effective impact.
Ministry Prep:
Prep here depends on the activity planned with the street kids. If a team is going to try evangelism in the park, they need to be prepped. A Casa Gabriel representative should give an orientation, telling some of the backgrounds of the street kids, current challenges, recent accomplishments, etc. Some special clothing needed.
